An important update regarding the second access road – via Fairholm near St Lukes Church.
Use of the Fairholm entrance was a condition of the planning application.  Confirmation below that the Council is now taking action against Persimmon for failing to use the new road for construction traffic.  Persimmon will now be given 6 weeks to comply with the condition and to construct and use the new/second entrance for site traffic.
Thank you to residents who took the time to email the Council to show their unhappiness with Persimmon continuing to use Alexon Way for site traffic.
Please do continue to email Planningenforcement@rctcbc.gov.uk (ccd) while Alexon Way continues to be used as a site entrance for Dyffryn Glas – to ensure pressure is kept up for safer roads on Alexon Way.
